Kids Books Sports
Do you feel like public education and its emphasis on sports has caused nonathletic kids to feel inferior?
Why is it that we have million dollar work out rooms and multi million dollar stadiums for our high schools but we don’t have enough books classes or desks for the entire student body? why do we have toutors for athletes but ahomebound studant has to wait weeks for a teacher.
I was non athletic until I hooked up with my foster family. Now, I play versity football. To answer your question as honestly as I can, I think it has to do with the town or city. The people elect the school bored. If the schoolboard members want to keep there postitions, then they will continue to make choices that they think will make the voters happy. If your town or city is a big football town, then the board will allow extra money to go to athletics to keep the voters happy and keep there positions next election.
