| "Poems to Our Daughters" is an inspirational book that should be read by mothers-to-be as well as young and old parents and grandparents. It is indeed refreshing to hear the positive reflections brought to the forefront of this publication as well as reading each poem at the end of the chapters. Zonya Brewton's writing is indeed inspired by God and I recommend her work as a "must read" for generations to come.
If every daughter could experience the level of unconditional love and unwavering commitment as expressed in the pages of "Poems to Our Daughters," all of our girls would grow up to be exceptional women who hold their heads high and stand tall. "Poems to Our Daughters" is a must read. It is vital in a time when the denigration of morals, values, and women is so prevalent.
Unfortunately in today's society we encounter many situations where negativity is more the norm than positive reinforcement. After reading "Poems to Our Daughters" I would highly recommend this book as a source of hope and inspiration to our present day society.
