What is the hardest thing about AP Bio?
I take AP Bio my third year coming and I was wondering what is the hardest thing for him. I already took biology my freshman year and got right with the exception of the last term I received a B because we have entered genetics. From now on, I'm working on my summer homework. My school uses the book by Campbell and Biology it sucks. I understand that, at the AP reading is very difficult, but ugh, this book simply explains things in a very wordy and confusing. I am very willing to put in effort and time but I am worried because I am not necessarily the best test-taker. Advice on how to survive over?
AP Biology is a difficult class, because there is so much material. I took the class my second year and we have used the book Campbell, too, and I agree it does suck, but it is certainly worth reading the book. Take really good notes and read the book every time assigned to because it will really help and do not be afraid to ask questions to teachers because it Wil be very useful, especially when it comes to subjects you do not understand (I assume that genetics for you). If you try to follow a course in genetics with AP Biology, so that it will help you understand it better. Any additional opportunity for learning materials will be useful when it comes to examining what is hard enough. I horrible teacher, but I read all the chapters in the book, although it is very wordy, and I ended up having the highest grade in my class with an A in class and 5 in the review. My school gave us several packages, if your school does the same thing, make sure you have them completely and not copy other people because you do not learn the material.
