Books Linda Howard

Need help remembering this book.?
I think it is a book by Linda Howard but I'm not sure … I read it long ago. All I remember is that this girl is told that her husband was in an explosion, but it can not be identified. She arrives and attempts to contact him, but he can not speak if she starts asking him questions and he was moving his hand once or twice to indicate yes or no. Finally, she begins to enter the alphabet of innumerable times to help him form words so they can have a conversation. The only other thing I remember is that it's better and they go to this cabin to hide from someone …. as I said years ago that I have not read that. I used to own the book and I have no idea what happened to him … I really want to read and I hope So it works.

The Passion of Ayn Rand [VHS] $5.50 Passion is not one of those words usually associated with the controversial author Ayn Rand, unless one is speaking of her controversial ideas. Her novels The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged made egoism a virtue, and her philosophy of objectivism, which she defiantly trumpeted in the face of criticism, proclaimed self-interest was a patriotic virtue. For 15 years she also used her philosophy to ju… |

Monolith Monsters [VHS] $9.98 First off, be advised that the Monolith Monsters are not really monsters in the conventional sense (meaning a guy in a hideous rubber suit wreaking havoc). That having been said, this is still a very effective, standout Fifties sci-fi film. A meteor crashes near a desert town, and the fragments of the meteor crystallize very quickly when exposed to water. They also suck the moisture from humans… |
