Author Salary Range
What is the salary of an author or writer who is writing a novel?
It is terribly variable. Most People who write novels never publish them, so they do nothing. Most novels do very little in royalties. Some authors make millions per year. I have two friends who are professional writers and neither is in good financial condition.
