12 Books Changed World

Since August 1993, FIFA began ranking international teams in order to publish comparisons of their relative strengths at regular intervals. First, a point was given for a draw and three for the win. This classification system was very simple and was far from the goal original. FIFA has realized that more factors influence the outcome and make the classification more comprehensive, he made the following changes a few:
- Scaling up the ranking point by a factor of ten.
- Changing the calculation to take into account:
- Number of goals
- Home or away Match
- Importance of Match / Competition
- Regional Force
- Do not have fixed points for a win or a draw.
- Allow losers game to earn points.
Previously, the evolution period was eight years old, but after the Cup World 2006, will be cut to four years.
The classification system was recently revamped after the 2006 World Cup, with the first edition of the new series of rankings, published July 12, 2006. The most significant change is that the rankings are now based on results Over the last four years instead of eight years earlier. The change is seen to respond to criticisms that the rankings do not reflect effectively the relative strengths of teams.
World Cup Soccer Ranking top 15 teams in November 2009 by the points are given below:
1 Brazil with 1632 points
2 Spain with 1629 points
3 Netherlands with 1340 points
4 Italy with 1215 points
5 Germany with 1161 points

11 USA with 1025 points
12 Russia with 982 points
